Flying to Casa Botanica

  • Flights from Panama City, PA and San Jose, Costa Rica. From Panama City, the carriers are Air Panama and Flytrip. From San Jose, the carriers are Sansa and Air Panama.
  • Located on Isla Colón, just minutes from the airport and Bocas Town, our property offers peace and convenience close to town but away from the late-night noise.
  • Taxis await every incoming flight. just mention Casa Botanica, all drivers know the villa. We are known for our great Villa.

How far in advance should I book?
Plan ahead for peace of mind. Our most popular dates often book out 5 to 6 months in advance.
Casa Botanica is perched on a stunning ocean bluff! Our traditional Caribbean-style architecture harnesses the refreshing ocean breeze to provide natural air conditioning. Open up to paradise. Our fully expanding doors bring the breathtaking sights and sounds of the jungle and ocean right to you.

Casa Botanica welcomes families to discover the amazing architecture of our space, but note that it may not be suitable for young children due to potential safety hazards. Additionally, some sleeping areas may not be within close proximity to supervising adults. However, infants who are not yet mobile and children over the age of 8 are sure to be delighted by our offerings.

Good news all you need is a passport! No extra paperwork or hassle required. A visa may be required by Panama. “Citizens from the US, Canada, EU, UK, Australia, and select others can enter visa-free for 30 to 180 days”.
Yes! With our fast and stable internet (680mbs), you can access high-speed internet seamlessly throughout the property.
Yes, the wifi on the island is password protected with strong encryption. Current speeds are 640 mbs as we have upgraded to fiber optic’s.
Yes. Casa Botanica offers dedicated workspaces with high-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for digital nomads and guests on extended stays.
Check-in is at 3:00 PM. Guests may leave luggage at the property if arriving earlier.

We can recommend unforgettable local excursions, including hidden beaches, snorkeling, surf lessons, wellness, and dining. Alternatively, we can connect you with a Personal Travel Concierge Service for fully curated experiences (fees may apply).
From the airport, taxis are available. Simply tell the driver you’re going to Casa Botanica at the former Botanic Gardens we’re well known in the area.
Yes, we have private parking available for guests.
Casa Botanica is located on an ocean bluff just 130 meters from the water, combining stunning views with easy beach access.
Yes. Our triple-filtered and UV-sterilized rain catchment system provides safe drinking water.
Our rain catchment system, while purified, has limited capacity compared to a town water supply. Conserving water ensures enough is available for everyone during your stay.

For stays of one week or more, mid-week service includes:

  • Light villa and casitas cleaning
  • Fresh towels and sheets
  • Villa + Casitas: $120 per person (max. 5 hours)
  • Main Villa only: $60 per person (max. 3 hours)

Laundry: $25 (2 loads, up to 5 guests), $50 (3 loads, up to 10 guests.

Extra cleaning and laundry services are available upon request:

The cost will be charged to the credit card on file for your reservation.
We offer a provisioning service for $50 plus $10/person plus cost of food and beverages.
You’ll receive a shopping checklist. We’ll purchase your items, deliver them, and stock them in the villa before you arrive.

The shopping list must be submitted at least 48 hours before arrival to ensure groceries are ready. One shopping list per group.

Charges for groceries and the service fee will be applied to the credit card on file.

Yes. There are ATMs in town, with a maximum daily withdrawal of $200.
The ATM’s can run out of cash, so best to arrive with plenty of cash.

While Taxis's are available, they tend to be infrequent. Rent our private 6 person golf cart to get around the island.
